Upcoming Regional Business Conferences

CaspianIn the next few weeks several regional business/economic conferences will be taking place in the region.  Two confirmed include ITE’s 17th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference to take place June 1-4 in Baku, Azerbaijan.  

In addition, the U.S. Department of Energy will be hosting a conference on Energey Efficiency in Istanbul Turkey from June 3-4.   According to the press release:

This comprehensive conference, which will focus on energy efficiency in Southeast Europe and the Caucasus, is part of an effort to highlight the role that energy efficiency can play in making companies more profitable and governments more effective. It is also an opportunity for industry and government officials to discuss the most effective ways to promote energy efficiency.

Finally, international conferences in Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan remain on the horizon and details will be published shortly.
