Changes to Kazakhstan Commodities Market

Kyrgyzstans-mountains-in-the-fallThe addition of a new tax on aluminum exports from Kazakhstan has recently been announced.

According to Silk Road Intelligencer (SRI): “Kazakhstan will introduce a 15-percent export tariff on aluminum alloys, or no less than 100 euros per metric ton, starting on June 23, the government said on Thursday.”
